Citizen created a sensation at Basel 2002 when it unveiled the world’s smallest quartz analog movement, CAL.G720. The result of our precision technology, the movement is unlike any other and opens up a new realm of possibility in wristwatch development. Now, based on the idea of creating “ultimate beauty through ultimate technology,” we want to excite consumers afresh with designs never before seen and create products that embody a new set of values for a new age.
Although we only displayed a ladies’ model last year, CAL.G720 was highly praised by men as well as women. As a result, at Basel 2003 we are exhibiting a unisex model [see photograph] that displays the time in five countries, along with a new ladies’ model with a diamond-encrusted bezel that functions equally well as a watch and a piece of jewelry.
With this tiny caliber, Citizen has given birth to a brand new kind of timepiece, designed to give true expression to the wearer’s individuality and taste.
