(u-s:b /ML) Frequent travellers with a feel for exclusive aesthetics, now have something to look forward to. The Masterpiece Réveil Globe by Maurice Lacroix is now also available in 18K pink gold.
This sporty, masculine wrist watch, which resolves time-related problems anywhere around the globe, is a mechanical alarm clock whose solid silver dial displays three different time zones at once. One is shown by a normal pair of hands, a second is shown by an hour hand and an interior rotating ring, and a third is shown through a window above the “6”. The latter is a twenty-four hour indication that makes sure that night and day are clearly divided, which is easily adjusted by the turn of a crown.
Both the movement and the design of this Masterpiece naturally correspond to these exclusive functions: The alarm movement is based on the legendary calibre 5008 “Brain-Matic” from Anton Schild, a renowned Swiss watch manufacturer. The rotor contains a tiny ball bearing. A total of 31 jewels provides durability. And optically the ML 06 calibre was lovingly assembled according to the precise art of watchmaking. Prominent luminous numerals and hands ensure that the time and alarm setting can be easily read through the sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on inside, even in the dark. The date display has been purposefully aligned between the “1” and “2” to make it optimally visible. Furthermore, the Réveil Globe, available now in stainless steel, stainless steel/pink gold 18K 750 or pink gold 18K 750, is water-resistant up to fifty meters below sea level.

Movement: Hand-decorated automatic ML 06 movement, based on the AS 5008 calibre, 31 jewels, two barrels for the automatic winding of alarm and movement, blued steel screws, Incabloc shock protection, polished steel pallet and escapement wheel, Glucydur balance, Nivarox-1 balance spring, Nivaflex-1 main spring, skeleton rotor.
Functions: Date indication, alarm function, three time zones (second time zone shown in the window by the “6” and adjusted with the crown at the “2”; third time zone shown by the rotating ring and adjusted with the crown at the “9”).
Case: Stainless steel, stainless steel/pink gold 18K 750 or pink gold 18K 750; domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on inside, screwed caseback with sapphire crystal; water-resistant to 50 m; diameter 43 mm.
Dial: Solid silver 925; silver-coloured or black; luminous hands (hours/minutes/alarm) and Arabic numerals, index marks with luminous dots.
Watchband: Stainless steel, stainless steel/pink gold 18K 750 or genuine Louisiana croco leather with folding clasp.
