LONGINES: GrandeVitesse
 16.10.2007/11.11 - Fluid lines, aerodynamic curves, lively graphics: Longines new line of high-performance chronographs has generated a lot of surprise. It is inspired by the automobile and mechanical sports world where the brand has a long history of timing. The tachometer scale can measure speeds of up to Mach 2, twice the speed of sound. The push-pieces and crown feature an anti-slip surface. The large Arabic numeral 12 is inspired by racing car markings.
